Lastly, the Telecommunications segment offers communication services, leveraging a sophisticated network that includes a digital microwave system with synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) technology, as well as a dark fiber optic infrastructure. As of December 31, 2021, TGS had extended its services to approximately 6.2 million final consumers, encompassing residential, commercial, industrial, and electricity generation sectors.
